At the beginning of the school year or an event such as seminar or workshop, may be useful for the teacher or organizer in a fun activity that can facilitate the introduction. This activity, which is certainly to be considered is the game of bingo icebreaker. Icebreaker bingo is in fact at least two different games - should both variants of the classic game of bingo, and the teacher or organizer, select the most appropriate version of icebreaker bingo, depending on age,Confidence level and English language skills of the players (or students).

1 In both versions of the game, each player is given their bingo card. The goal is to become the first player to reach a line defined by five points on the chart to see if this line is horizontal, vertical or diagonal.

2 In the simplest version of icebreaker bingo, bingo cards containing the names of the members of the group - a different name in each square. What happens is the teacher (orOrganiser goes) to the group asking people to stand up one at a time, others say a little 'about you, and stop with the name. The other player can then select the name of their cards, and the first player that can reach a line of five and a call bingo - bingo but they count only if they can correctly identify people based on each of the names their line of profit.

3 In the more complex version of the game are the squares of the bingo cardsprinted descriptions or activities (for example, "owns a cat," "can play the piano", "is a vegetarian"). The players then move between them trying other things, that correspond to these descriptions, and, if you are looking for a match, write the name of the person on the field. The problem is that each name is used only once per card, and that naturally encourages the player to meet and talk with many other members of the group, as they can.
